Responsibilities include establishing sound relationships with clients to guide them thru the SAVVIS implementation process, serving as the single point of contact for the duration of each implementation for all milestone updates, coordinating internal resources to meet customer want dates for the project, and on-boarding new clients thru key presentations all in order to maintain a high customer satisfaction level. The Vertical Project Manager will work closely with the Vertical team to oversee critical implementations and act as a Subject Matter Expert for the Vertical.Position Objectives: Provide excellent customer service for Savvis’ top revenue generating customers throughout the lifecycle of client implementation projectsBuild sound working relationships with internal and external parties to support vertical healthMeet internal delivery milestones and ensure that client expectations are clearly establishedEnsure accurate revenue forecasting and accelerated recognitionCreate tailored presentations to fit the customer’s needs from basic templatesSuccessfully transition the project over to the support organization Essential duties:Project owner for assigned vertical – must command and control the orchestration of the successful implementation of services and lead critical implementation effortsReview and interpret client expectations in order to manage customer relationship by providing implementation process expertiseSchedule and chair key milestone update meetings, overview presentations, and portal trainings specific to customer needsResearch and evaluate project risk – utilize decision making authority to determine solutions for managing the risk.
