The Project Manager will be responsible for managing IT project teams including end user and third party provider activities. The PM will also be responsible for overall coordination, status reporting and stability of project oriented work efforts that support the IT projects ensuring on time, within budget, high quality standards delivery that meets customer expectations. In this role it is vital that stakeholders and project teams be kept well informed, on a continual basis, of activities, issues, priorities, and timelines in order to make informed decisions and provide guidance. You may be working in multiple projects at a given time. Key Responsibilities: • Responsible for the creation and evaluation of new product development based solutions to support our client’s business requirements.• Previous history of managing Business Process Re-engineer projects• Experience working within both Waterfall, and Agile environments• Strong knowledge of PDLC (Project Development Lifecycle)• Experience within an Operations environment• Workflow experience of taking New Idea / Concept to market• STRONG background in PDLC (Product Development Lifecycle)• Experience with:• Current State analysis and identification• Gap Analysis• Gap Resolution• Successful track record of making call workflow process better & faster• Comes out of a Services Organization:• Training• Product• Services• Professional Services experience• Knowledge of both Agile & Waterfall methodologies• Strong knowledge of Visio• Strong analytical skills.• Ability to build and evaluate business cases for operational improvements and understand how technology can be leveraged to accelerate operational improvements. • Strong analytical skills.• Direct project activities to maintain progress, mutual interaction, and tasks of various parties in such a way that reduces the risk of failure, maximizes benefits, and restricts costs• Overall management of team and assigned projects, including coordination, status reports, and stability of the project work effort; manage financial, scope, and critical path for assigned projects.• Determine and communicate resource requirements and manage consulting relationships as needed during project cycle.• Maintain continuous alignment with defined strategic business objectives• Assume shared ownership with Business Analyst for business process design, documentation and training as it pertains to project execution.• Track key project milestones and adjust project plans and/or resources to meet customer needs and requirements.• Coordinate communication with all enterprise areas that impact the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the project.• Assist Program Manager(s) in partnering with senior management in the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities to utilize IT to achieve enterprise goals.• Works directly with partners and clients to determine project scope and specifications.• Reviews progress, manages resources, and ensures overall quality of assigned projects.• Serves as liaison between team members and functional area management requesting project.• Identify and manage common project elements such as Project Charters, dependencies, risks, issues, and status reporting.• Coach, mentor, motivate and coordinate project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Basic Requirements: • Project Management (PMP) certification• Typically has 6 to 10 years of IT work experience, including at least 5 years in the Product Development Lifecycle Cycle (PDLC) and Waterfall methodologies (AIM, Four D, etc) is required• 4-6 years’ experience managing Projects involving Business Process Re-engineering pertaining to New Product Development• Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions involving a geographically distributed team• Ability to read communication styles of team members and contractors who come from a broad spectrum of disciplines; works well in a diverse team. Other• Ability to travel up to 20% (may require some overnight)• Any offer of employment will be contingent on the successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screen• Local candidates are preferred but will entertain qualified, out of town candidates.
