Technical Delivery Manager – Project Management

Details: Technical Delivery Manager – Project Management Consultant Job Responsibilities As a Technological Delivery Manager, you will analyze present-state approaches, develop alternative future-state approaches and facilitate implementation. You will also be responsible for end to end requirements gathering and functionality as well as developing and executing systems testing. Another important part of your role will be to act as a liaison between the business user groups and the technical systems groups.  Your specific duties will include:  Managing project risk through comprehensive mitigation assessment and planning techniques Actively managing the work efforts of multiple functional resources through the project plan Establishing basic scope control procedures Developing documentation, monitoring and reporting project status and assessing the effectiveness and accuracy of documentation Initiating and maintaining reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors and other affected departments in order to coordinate efforts across multiple business units and to ensure continuous efficient management of projects – includes gathering input and feedback Analyzing and reporting project status and research information Monitoring project performance to maintain the quality of services, deliverables and content Effectively assisting in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines Responding to operational issues and RFI’s within defined areas of responsibility while progressing on project work Collaborating and communicating with other project managers and leaders to coordinate cross-project initiatives and activities Identifying and eliminating obstacles to solution plans, business goals or implementation Assisting in the development and implementation of contingency plans Assisting in the development of project budgets in compliance with the company’s financial practices Performing enhancements and testing in a OAT environment as required
