Details: This $75K Project Manager Position Features:Program Manager II Company is seeking a Program Manager II to join the team in San Diego, CA. The Program Manager will manage multiple programs and / or projects with a combined value of up to $5M annual sales and/or individual programs valued at over $1M annual sales. The PM will lead a team of engineering, manufacturing and quality assurance disciplines, while being accountable for the planning, execution of all company aspects projects and programs. The successful candidate will have complete responsibility for managing all technical, financial, and contractual and schedule aspects. ? Lead a cross functional team of associates with a wide range of skill sets, ensuring roles and responsibilities of all team members are coordinated and executed. ? Directs the development, integration, implementation, and overall management of Projects assigned. ? Regularly communicates Project information internally and externally through formal and informal presentations and correspondence.? Ensures project-wide focus on safety, reliability, cost, schedule and adequacy of systems, procedures and people for long term success.? Able to evaluate data, develop recommendations, and obtain approval from executive management. ? Identifies, qualifies, and presents new business initiatives with current customers to corporate and senior business executives, for both domestic and international business pursuits.? Coordinates all programmatic activities, to include: proposal preparation, initial kickoff meetings, proposal schedules, corporate and sub-contract teaming agreements, non-disclosure agreements, teaming assignments, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.? Maintains status reports of projects / programs and customer commitments and monitors technical performance schedule and cost.? Participates in various trade show assignments and applicable industry/customer public relations events as neededProgram Manager Requirements:? Bachelors Degree required? 5+ years technical experience with at least 5 years program management experience in an aerospace or defense industry? Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, and Power Point; Must be proficient in EVMS and Project Scheduling? Must be highly adept in presentation skills and be comfortable in presenting company/project/technical information to internal management and external customers? Demonstrated ability to lead people and provide overall leadership to project team while driving technical excellence? Able to manage a variety of Bid and Proposal efforts Program Manager Preferred Qualifications:? Degree in technical field preferred? Composite experience, especially compression molding experience preferred? Strong understanding of technical business-experience in an environment where the focus of the business is providing technical solutions?
